Well, I did it and boy am I burnt out! I taught my last week of preschool this past week which I am so happy about it being done but I'm also kind of sad cause my little girl is growing up. I'm so glad I had the opportunity to do this co-op preschool though, I loved it. For my last week of teaching, we learned the letter R so on Monday, I taught them about rain and the beginning of the Noah's Ark story. So I had them make a rain scene using tin foil raindrops and puddles which turned out cuter than I had anticipated.

On Wednesday, we learned about rainbows and I had the kids go outside and make a rainbow by spraying water into the sun. Then we made a rainbow fruit trifle which they ate while I finished the Noah's Ark story about God's promise.

Since it was 80 degrees that day, I let them play outside for the last 30 minutes which they loved. It was so fun hearing the silly conversations that these kids have with each other and seeing them interact while in a social setting. Hallie has loved having her friends Mommy's be her teachers and she looks forward to her "big girl" preschool next year at a real preschool.
I loved teaching them and I look forward to doing it with Sydnee someday. While I'm done teaching, I have yet to tackle my biggest preschool tasks yet that I'm in charge of before preschool ends next month: Field Day and Preschool Graduation. Any suggestions for fun ideas??
