Everyone warned us about the amount of lake effect snow we get here in Ohio, but I didn't think it'd be this bad... we got 3-4 feet of snow in some areas of our yard over night! We went to bed still able to see the grass, but woke up to cars being buried because of the amount of snow. These pictures are of our neighbors houses since we couldn't get out of the garage until we snow plowed which took ALL DAY. Can you see our neighbors four cars buried in the snow on their drive way?

As if the snow wasn't enough of a shock, it all melted within 48 hours! Not a good thing since we have a basement, so we were pretty worried about our sump pump keeping up with all the water and luckily it did... phew! Now we can see our grass again... until the next snow dump that is.
