The girls went to a "Super Siblings" training class at the hospital to learn how to be a good sibling to the baby and dos and don'ts of taking care of a newborn. With their dolls in tow, the nurse taught them how to diaper their babies,

how to hold their babies,

...and how to feed their babies.

The nurse gave them hair nets and surgical masks too to show them what the doctors wear when the baby is born. Then we got to tour the birthing unit of the hospital and the girls got to see the room that I'll be in when the baby is born. The girls loved the class and they liked being able to keep the bottle and diaper for their dolls.
Sydnee has been practicing diapering her baby all day, it's so cute to watch her talk to her baby as she explains that she has to change her diaper since she peed in it telling her "that's naughty." I've tried explaining to her that it's only naughty when you know how to go pee in the potty already, but she doesn't understand. Poor Bentley will learn early on that "it's naughty" to pee in his diaper. Maybe he'll potty train quicker!? They're going to be such good big sisters.
