On the Move Again

Yes, the rumors are true... we're moving again! Avery unexpectedly came to Cameron in December with a job offer in Ohio (yes, the same area we lived in before moving here... who would have thought!?) and after a LONG and HARD decision-making process we accepted. It is definitely bitter-sweet, we of course don't want to leave our friends, ward or our house, but regardless it's where we are meant to be. Things have just fallen into place in every aspect of this move so far and we can't deny we're meant to be in Ohio for whatever the reason may be. We do look forward to reuniting with old friends we left behind a few years ago when we moved, and being close to church history sites and the Lake and beaches again!

We are relocating with a moving company (thank you moving company and your trucks and hard workers and the many boxes you will bring with you to pack us up!) and they are finally getting our "relocation" underway. We hope to put the house on the market by the end of next week. We'll keep you informed of our adventures (and tears and stress and sad goodbyes) along the way... thanks for your thoughts and prayers through all of this chaos the next couple of months! We're keeping our fingers crossed for our house to sell quickly... the last piece of the puzzle (a huge piece nonetheless).

Happy Birthday to the Love of My Life!

Happy Birthday Cam!! Today he turns 31 (eek!), but he is still such a kid at heart which I love about him. I love that he knows how to fix and do anything and everything. I love that he is such a great Dad to our kiddos, he'd rather play and goof-off with them any day than do the things he should be doing! I love his diligence in finishing his MBA too, he spends lots of late nights and wee early mornings studying and I'm so proud of him!!! I love that he tries his best to better himself in the gospel every day and I love that he supports me in doing things that are important to our family like FHE. And I love that I'm the one who gets to celebrate every birthday with him. I love you Cam, happy birthday!!

Hallie Turns 5!

Hallie celebrated her 5th birthday this week! I can't believe my baby girl is five!? Time flies too fast, I hate it. When she woke up, Cam asked her if she felt older, and she said, "I feel taller!" On odd years, instead of having a birthday party, we take the girls out to a restaurant of their choice, and when we asked Hallie where she wanted to go she said, "Pizza Hunt, and can I get stuffed crust too!?" She knew exactly what she wanted, so on Friday, we'll take her on her birthday date.

After Daddy came home from work, we ate Hallie's favorite dinner: lasagna, and then we opened presents. Hallie got a couple books and workbooks to help her with her reading skills since she is already reading which we are so excited about! We then sang Happy Birthday to her and as she said, we "devoured" her rainbow cake I made (don't look too closely!). She had such a fun day, we love you sweet pea!

Thank you Grandma's and Grandpa's for all the gifts!

Our Treadmill: A Love/Hate Relationship

I'm loving our new treadmill we got a few months ago. I hate to run on a treadmill (let's face it, I hate to run period) and would much rather run outside, but regardless, I use it faithfully, still running a few miles a week on it and after my runs the girls love getting on it to test it out. I put the speed at .5 miles per hour and Sydnee can still barely keep up with it, it's so stinkin' cute!
