We have the best neighbors who live behind us, they've become good friends of ours and their little girls, Rose and Lana are Hallie and Sydnee's good friends too. "Lana" was even one of Sydnee's first ten words that she said and she caught on quickly to the fact that that's the name you yell when you walk out to the backyard to see if their home so they can play.
Now that it's summer again, I look forward to seeing the girls talk through the fence and hear them conspiring on how to ask their Mom's for permission to play at each other's houses. They toss balls back and forth over the fence and share toys through the fence and sing and dance around together. That fence has shared lots of funny moments with those girls!
