Teaching Preschool

I taught Hallie's preschool last week. On Monday I taught the kids the color yellow so I had them stamp with yellow foods, then we had a yellow snack and then we glued yellow knick knacks to a sun. I also had them organize Popsicle sticks into different color groups and they did great.

On Wednesday I taught them the color green and we went on a nature walk to collect green things and we learned about turtles. The kids are holding up their cute turtle's that we made and I had them decorate their turtles' shell. It turned out to be such a cute craft. It's been so fun teaching them when it's my week to teach, and it's so cute to hear the kids recite the Pledge of Allegiance at the beginning of every class too. This week Hallie is learning the color red and we get to go on a field trip to the apple orchard to pick apples.

What fun! It sounds like you found your calling in life, being very creative teaching! But I guess mom's have to do that most every day-I love the family picture on your blog, I'm slow at viewing everything but it looks so cute!
