Hallie wore Grandpa Voge out while he was here by playing games with him, playing hide and seek and chasing each other. Grandpa was such a good sport though, and Hallie loved playing with him! Grandpa bought Hallie and Sydnee some cute outfits for fall that Hallie is so excited to wear to preschool.
Ryan and Nicole just got back from Spain a few weeks before, and they brought gifts for all of us. Hallie's gift was a fan, and she LOVED it. She still has it in the box and uses it only when she's dressed up like a princess. Hallie and Uncle Ryan built forts together which made Hallie's day. It was so cute seeing them crawl in their fort together. We also got a sitter for the girls while the adults spent an evening at dinner and a movie which was a great treat.And of course, it wouldn't be a visit from Nicole without a visit to Hobby Lobby for a craft... so here's the finished product which I hung in our hallway upstairs: We printed pictures and glued them to core board squares that were 8x8" then we found scrapbook paper we liked to match and glued those on as well. I still have to put thin black ribbon around the edges to cover the core board, but didn't it turn out great!? Thanks Nicole for your imagination and cute ideas!
