Bentley's 7 Months

This month of his life seemed to fly by quickly since I only got one picture (but it will make for an awesome black mail picture someday...). Much to Cam's dismay, he is so intrigued by the girls dolls and likes to cuddle with them. It's okay bud, big boys play with dolls too.

Here's some highlights of this age... he got his first two teef at the end of this month!

• Bentley is starting to talk! He says "Mama" when he wants me to get him out of his crib or pick him up off the floor. He says (more like screams) "Baba" when he wants his bottle in the morning when he wakes up. He said "Dada" for the first time on Father's Day... how appropriate! But for the record, he said "Mama" first :)
• Bentley is a pro at sitting up. Although after sitting up for a while, sometimes he just slowly topples over and we tease that it's because of his big noggin which he gets comments on every Sunday at church... we know people, it's big.
• Bentley knows I won't get up to get him his binky at night so he hangs on to it for dear life during the night and he's taught himself how to put it in the right way. 
• Hallie and Mommy are still the only ones who can get him to belly laugh.
• He loves all fruit baby food, will dry heave on all veggies... Justin, are you sure he isn't your kid?! The poor thing has a rash to prove it :(
• He is usually just a happy go lucky kid... still.
• Loves to fall asleep on Daddy and any time Cam will hold him, Bentley puts his head on Cam's shoulder as if to say, "I missed you" or "I love you" and yes it makes me so jealous... what am I? Chopped liver?
•  He rolls all over the floor to get to toys that he's not allowed to have. He's usually pretty fussy when I'm making dinner (never met a baby whose bewitching hour isn't around dinner time) and the other night he was so happy playing by himself. So we had a dang good dinner that night but when I finally went into the family room to get him, I found out why he'd been so good. He had gotten into Sydnee's toys that were left on the floor across the room, and was sucking on a Lego instruction manual... yum. When I caught him, he knew he was being naughty because he gave me this look like, "Uh Oh."
• Bentley is a nightmare to change his clothes or diaper, he won't hold still and what should take only 30 seconds, takes 3 minutes because he's trying to roll over or escape. He's a wiggly one. 
• He's still our big boy, Grandpa Drake calls him "Brutis" let's hope that doesn't stick. He's wearing 18-24 months clothes now. Yikes!
