to bike our city's River Greenway which follows right along the Maumee River, one of three major rivers that run through our city. Here we are at one of the trail-heads.
Last year, Oprah donated $10,000 to our greenway paths which was pretty cool and she came and visited for a day when she announced it on her show as part of Oprah's Big Giveaway! We packed a lunch and biked five miles each way to a park for our picnic. It was a crisp fall day (my favorite time of year) and it was so beautiful biking along the country side, passing farms along the way.On our bike ride we saw soy bean crops,
and Daddy showed off his mad "riding with no hands" skills for the girls (and yes they were very impressed).
Then we arrived at the park and after lunch the girls had fun picking flowers and twigs to throw into the water. It was such a fun day!
