One Last Hurrah

Yesterday Cam and I spent all day (okay, mostly Cam did) taking things apart, cleaning, organizing and fixing last minute things that needed done before we move on Friday... yes on Friday! I started realizing all the things I will miss in our first house, we have so many memories here. I will be an emotional wreck on Thursday as they pack up our things and take them away to the next chapter of our lives, and although there's a lot to be excited about, I will miss it here terribly.

Last night my friends threw me and two of our other friends a going away party at Applebees, and it was such a fun treat! I of course, forgot to take pictures but will post them soon since Ginny was genius enough to do so. But I will miss all the friends we've made and the wonderful ward we've been in the past 3 1/2 years! We've loved it here, and are sad to leave. So thanks Marci and Kari for putting together last night and thank you Stephanie and Christy for the cute goody bags you put together for our car ride to Ohio when we move with a new movie and snacks for the kids and a post card of Fort Wayne! It was so sweet, and very thoughtful, and I'm so glad we got to have one last hurrah.

Pretty in Easter

Grandma Voge sent the girls dresses for Easter... darling. So these pictures are for you Grandma Voge, enjoy! We're excited to see you soon!

In Case There Isn't Enough Excitement...

Syd's hand is covering up "big"...

I printed these pictures and put them in a card for Cam and that's how I told him about the baby when we found out a couple months ago, I thought it was a rather cute way to tell him. Cam got teary-eyed a little which was so sweet, we are so excited to have another baby! Last week the girls and I got to see the first ultrasound of the baby and the girls loved seeing it move around and do flips in my tummy. Everything's going great so far. The baby's due October 24th, so the baby is about 12 weeks along.

Our New House

Cam and I went house hunting over the weekend (kid-free, thanks G&G!) in Ohio hoping to be successful and we found a house! We're just amazed at how blessed we've been through all of this, it's been a rather smooth transition which has been just another of our many blessings. After a couple counter-offers back and forth, they accepted our offer and we are so excited to call this place home soon. We close in the middle of May so we'll be at least in our house to celebrate and decorate for Syd's birthday which I'm excited about!

The house has 4 beds, 3 baths, and is the same size as our current house in Indiana. We are gaining a newer home though (built in 1998) in a beautiful new neighborhood, and we're gaining a finished basement with a guest bedroom which was Hallie's one request, she really wanted it to have a basement like G&G's house does for the play room. We are also gaining a huge yard that backs up to a small grove of trees where the kids are going to love exploring eventually I'm sure.

Basement and guest bedroom...

We're excited to move in next month, assuming of course that the inspection and appraisal goes okay! Fingers crossed :)

Sold!

Have we sold our house you ask? Well, we're getting there! We accepted a great offer last weekend and since we're working through a relocation company (which was much easier when we were only renting), there are papers upon papers that the buyer has to sign... and be happy with! Luckily it hasn't scared the buyer away yet, and closing day is scheduled for the end of April. Which means that we are moving in three weeks!!?!! I just need a minute for that to sink in..... okay, now I'm freaking out! Cam and I are anxiously awaiting our house hunting trip that's coming up and hope to find the house that's meant to be ours. We've been incredibly blessed to sell our house so quickly so if takes a couple months to find a house out there, I really can't complain! More updates to come...
