Striking a Pose

Is this not what Voge's do best? Cameron would rather do a silly face than smile on camera any day. If you can't beat 'em, join 'em I guess. Notice how Sydnee is the only normal one? She must have pure Drake blood in her.

I Love My Job

I have so many jobs: the cook, the maid, the launderer, the chauffeur, the organizer, the event planner, the disciplinary, the homemaker, the entertainer... the list goes on. But of all those, I love being the Mom the best only on days that end in "y."

Halloween 2010

Every year Hallie looks forward to Cameron's Halloween party at work they throw for the employees' kids and every year I look forward to the cute matching costumes I find for the girls. However, I took this year off this year from making creative costumes for them (I know, you're disappointed.. but there's always next year!) so when a friend gave me these costumes since her kids had outgrown them I was so excited.... aren't they stinkin' cute?

They even had the "stinging" down to a T!

But, the day before the Halloween party at Cam's work and at church, Hallie decided being a bee wasn't a good costume and decided she wanted to be a fairy. Scrambling to find a fairy costume, I found one in the knick of time and although they didn't match, they still looked cute. We must have run out of the house in a hurry because we forgot to grab Hallie's wings... oops!

Daddy's work had some fun decorations and games for the kids to do. The girls always like seeing where Dad works too.

Sydnee got the hang of saying, "Trick-or-Treat" really quick and thought it was so cool that people were giving her candy. She has such a sweet tooth like Daddy does and it took two of us to pry her away from the candy!

Cameron's friend at work, Aaron, made a cool spider launcher that the kids got to step on to release the catapult which launched the spider into a web, it was pretty cool, even Cam wanted to try it out.

Carving Pumpkins

This year Syd had the chance to help carve pumpkins since she's "big enough" to hold the pumpkin knife, so says Hallie, and I'm sure she would have loved it more if it weren't for the mess!

Hallie picked her pumpkin by herself, and she drew on the pumpkin with a pen the face that she wanted carved into it, it was kind of cute.

Here's our Jack-O-Lantern family...

We Have a Cousin!

Cam's brother and sister-in-law, Ryan and Nicole, had their first baby last week which means he's the girls' first and only cousin; and this little guy made me an aunt and Cam and uncle! Congrats to Ryan and Nicole on your sweet little boy, Rockwell! We are so excited to meet him next spring!

Sydnee's Preschool

A couple of us Mom's decided to put a mini-pre-PreK together with some of the kids at church, mostly for the socialization for the kiddos and the Mommy's too. We only have it twice a month so October's classes were at our house. We learned about the color orange the shape of the month was a circle. The kids are painting their orange pumpkin's and frosting their circle sugar cookies.
Here's all the kids in Syd's little preschool group: Cooper Routsong, Emerson Lewis, Delaney Johnson and Cameron Stump.
