Sydnee Anne Voge blessed our family with her sweet spirit on Thursday, May 29, 2008 at 11:48am, only four and half hours after labor started for mommy (which was very much appreciated by the way)!! It's amazing to see how different Hallie and Sydnee are already. Sydnee is a great sleeper, and is a very happy baby and hardly ever cries. It makes adjusting to life with two girls easier on mommy and daddy. We are so blessed that Sydnee arrived happy and healthy. She is our constant reminder of how precious life is and how blessed we are to raise another daughter of our Father in Heaven.
When Hallie came to meet Sydnee for the first time, she was a little jealous and didn't really know what to think. But after she opened her gift from Sydnee (which was a t-shirt that read "I'm the big sister") Hallie thought she wasn't too bad after all.
Grandma Drake holds Sydnee while we capture her first "smile" on camera! Even though it was just due to gas, it is still the cutest smile.
